Integrated capacity development in the Pacific on Multilateral environmental agreements : workshop report, March 15-17, 2004 Nadi, Fiji

The workshop addressed issues relating to environmental governance and associated capacity requirements and needs for MEA management at both national and regional levels in the Pacific. As the Inter-linkages country case studies already highlighted in detail, the Pacific Island Countries face very similar challenges in tackling their MEA obligations, both in the area of negotiating at international levels, as well as complying and implementing these MEAs nationally.
